Paragraph A lot of people don’t have wills. Everyone needs a will, but not all people have one. Wills are important because they explain who gets your stuff after you die. You don’t want your things going to someone you don’t want them to go to. My Aunt Martha went to a lawyer to get a will, I did my will online. My dad died in 1988. He didn’t have a will. His stuff went to my step mom, who I don’t get along with. If he would have had a will, I might have been able to start college sooner. But my dad didn’t have a will. People have different writing styles. Some use formal style of conveying their message, while others are more motivated to use personal opinions and friendly tone. From the above 2 paragraphs, however, in my point of view the second paragraph is more effective. The reason for this choice is the efficient use of information and the flow of the paragraph. The author in the first paragraph is repeating words and using same concepts again and again. The repetition of words and concepts is making it look odd and unprofessional. On the other hand, first paragraph provides information in a stable way. The information flows steadily from one fact to the other. If we talk about rhythm and sentence variety, paragraph 1 is structured well. Paragraph 1 uses short and medium length sentences and provides a nice reading opportunity. Paragraph 2, however, is more professional writing as it makes use of the punctuation rules and longer and medium length sentences to convey meanings.
