Reminiscing the Good Old Days I never really thought how much my whole life would drastically change now that we have passed one of the most excitingstages in life -- high school life. Yes, four years had gone by but I can still quite recall how those sweet little moments of joys, tears, and laughter I shared with my friends have all took place. And now, I can only reminisce... Seeing them today after four years of silence brought tears to my eyes. My friends! I was so thrilled and excited to find out that they were still the same old folks I knew back then. It was serious yet silly, emotional yet thoughtful, and mysterious yet trustworthy. We were headed to the beach (as we always do), and sat in one of those huge, heavy rocks by the sea, letting our feet kissed and drawn away by the big, crashing waves. “Time slips by too fast,” one of my friends remarked, breaking the deafening silence that dominates the four of us... I never really thought people can become so nostalgic at times. Then and again, the sound of silence prevailed. All we wanted at that time was to get lost in that infinite void where we could reminisce and taste again the sweetness of the good old days that have passed us by. And just as the extreme blow of the cold wind has carried us away, so as our feelings and emotions that I’ve come to realize -- my memories are kept safe with them. And it will forever be fresh, forever be beautiful...
