McDonald’s Corporation Mission ment McDonalds Corporation is a multinational firm that operates in the fast food industry. Its activities are guided by the following mission statement. “To be our customers favorite place and way to eat and drink. Our worldwide operations are aligned around a global strategy called the Plan to Win, which center on an exceptional customer experience – People, Products, Place, Price and Promotion. From their mission statement, the following aspects can be identified
1. Customer- The first sentence in the mission statement emphasizes that McDonalds effort are directed towards making the restaurant customers favorite place and way to eat and drink. The last sentence makes the customers feel the firm is committed to continuously improving our operations for their benefit.
2. Product- McDonalds prepares a range of fast food, and to make it clear to new clients of which product they provide the mission statement answers the question. The statement …be our customers’ favorite place and way to eat and drink…. Clients will be aware the company deals with ready-to-eat foodstuffs as opposed to raw.
3. Geography domain- McDonalds is a multinational firm, and in its mission statement this can be revealed….. Our worldwide operations are aligned around a global strategy called the Plan to Win….The phrase is meant to pass information to its loyal customers that the services and products found in various states are the same.
4. Concern for survival- The world of business is dynamic and, therefore, a firm needs to position itself for survivability…. committed to continuously improving our operations and enhancing our customers experience.” The statement proves McDonalds is determined to creativity in its operations to maintain and attracts new clients for it to remain relevant in the fast food business.
5. Public image- An image of a firm to the public has benefit if it is well viewed by the public. McDonalds view itself as a global company and therefore it has to create an image that will have warm reception from different people across the globe….. Our worldwide operations are aligned around a global strategy….Clients across the globe will have an image in the sense that McDonalds in United States and Africa is the same in terms of service.
